The Zippie Zone is an ultra lightweight, option-rich paediatric rigid chair that features flip back footrests, side guards with built-in hublock access and an abducted frame with inset backrest. The chair ergonomically fits the smallest child while still allowing the greatest wheel access for independent mobility.
Description:
The Zippie Zone chair’s frame is made of aircraft aluminium from the 7000 series. The combination of this material, our ShapeLoc Technology heat-treating process, and ovalised tubing creates a wheelchair that is lighter, just as robust, and more cost-effective than titanium.
Every square inch of the Zone was designed to provide children with optimal wheel access for effective propulsion. With features such as an inset backrest, flip-up, angle-adjustable footrest, and hub lock positioned on the seat rail, children may independently access the wheels, transfer in and out of the wheelchair, and use the wheel locks during propulsion.
Unquestionable is the fact that children will grow! Thus, the Zone children’s wheelchair has 3″ of built-in depth expansion. Added depth of 2″ is incorporated into the sling upholstery. To increase wheelchair frame width, simply replace a few components as opposed to the entire wheelchair frame.
